When the Illinois Department of Insurance wanted to freshen up its marketing to drive consumers to the Get Covered Illinois website, they tapped into FCG’s creative energy. We created a campaign that featured a customized Navigator personality to generate awareness about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace, provide healthcare marketplace education, and generate website traffic.

The creative showcased our research and understanding of the target audience, which was comprised of African American and Latino residents, the LGBTQ community, young adults, and rural Illinois residents.

We brought our years of multicultural experience to the forefront with the perfect blend of traditional and non-traditional media, including OOH, digital, social media, streaming audio, and consumer engagements that resonated with our target audience’s cultural sensibilities.

Winning Outcomes

We saw a significant increase in engagement across all media formats, including a 21% increase in TV and a 10% increase in clickthrough rates for social, banners, and online streaming. This campaign also earned a number of awards, such as the PRSA Chicago Best Healthcare campaign.
