Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago worked with FCG to develop a branding campaign to launch the Year of Transformation, the initial phase of its three-year D&I vision. Our fresh creative approach came to fruition through the BEBOLD&INSPIRE campaign.

Leadership in Multicultural
Three of our designers from diverse cultural, generational, and ethnic backgrounds were tasked with developing concepts representing FHLB’s diverse employee demographic. We also engaged FHLB’s employee resource groups (African American, Hispanic, LGBTQ, Asian, and Women) in the development of campaign elements.

Optimal Engagement
Over 500 employees participated in the launch of the campaign on BEBOLD&INSPIRE Day. All communications tactics encouraged employees to go beyond the status quo and make bold, meaningful decisions to inspire others.

Winning Outcomes
FHLB successfully achieved its Year of Transformation goals by adding 100+ diverse companies to its vendor database. Employee participation in D&I activities increased to 94.4%, helping cultivate inclusivity in areas such as supplier diversity, hiring, and recruitment.
