When Illinois’ top Democrats began to pitch Chicago to national party leaders as the host city for the 2024 Democratic National Convention, the team created a fresh video concept to showcase the rich, diverse communities that are the heart and soul of the city. FCG was recruited to work in collaboration with the team to produce the video ”Our Future is Created Here” to showcase Chicago’s global appeal.

Chicago-born, world-renowned hip-hop artist Common narrated a poem that focused on Chicago’s diversity through a robust representation of its neighborhoods and attractions, from food and music to educational and cultural sites to entertainment.

The video was used to announce Chicago’s DNC bid, shared online, on the DNC website, in social media and as footage for national and global news outlets, garnering millions of impressions.
